CISM exam at a glance
ISACA updated the CISM exam content outline for exams from 3 November 2026. It adds enterprise architecture and information security architecture, and puts more weight on security strategy and programme development. The four domains now carry these weights:

ISACA CISM
The CISM certification is awarded by ISACA, not by Pricoris. You book the exam directly with ISACA and pay its fee separately. ISACA also requires information security management experience before it grants the certification; you can sit the exam first.
